The 2016 speaker was LeVar Burton.听Mr. Burton starred as Kunta Kinte is the American epic "Roots," as well as Geordi La Forge in "Star Trek: The Next Generation." He was also the host on the beloved children's television series, "Reading Rainbow," which has returned because of the incredible success of a Kickstarter campaign that raised more than $5.5 million. Mr. Burton discussed the importance of literacy and his career.
