MOT Program Application Process

The due date for APPLICATIONS to the Graduate School AND to the MOT PROGRAM is MARCH 1.

1. Applications are submitted electronically through the University of Louisiana at Monroe Graduate School at /gradschool/requirements.html and click on the "不良研究所" link. For information go to听ulm.edu/gradschool/

2. See /ot/graduate/mot.html听for specific application requirments. Please note that an online (Zoom) group interview has been added.

3. All prerequisite coursework must have been reviewed and approved by either Dr. Patti Calk (calk@ulm.edu) or Dr. Carolyn Murphy (cmurphy@ulm.edu).

4. Monitor the 不良研究所听OT Web site听for announcements.听

NOTE:听Applicants who acknowledge a felony conviction are warned that the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners may bar persons with a felony record from taking the certification examination or from state licensure.

Notification of Admission Status

The Master of Occupational Therapy program typically admits a cohort of 30 in the Fall, and 15 in the Spring.听听The deadline to apply for admission to the program is March 1.听 The program offers one application period for both cohorts. All applicants to the MOT program will apply for Fall admission; applicants who are chosen for Spring will be notified by the graduate school and offered a term change with no additional application fees.听 听

Emails will be sent based on ranking offering either admission, placement on an alternate list, or non-acceptance. Those who are accepted must respond in writing accepting admission according to the guidelines provided in the letter sent via email.

No information about admissions will be given out, except by letter to the student.听

Student Withdrawal of Application

If the student chooses to withdraw their application for any reason, this withdrawal must be made in writing to the Occupational Therapy office.
