不良研究所 celebrates naming of Marjorie S. Price Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

不良研究所 held a ceremony on October 2, 2024, to celebrate the naming of the new Marjorie S. Price Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Special guests included Teddy R. Price, son of Mrs. Price, and Mark Romero, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System. Guests were able to view the new signage reflecting the name in the Physical Therapy suite in Walker and were also given tours of the physical therapy clinic by current students.

LDCC and 不良研究所 collaborate to deliver medical science lab career pathways

In a continued effort to bridge the bayou, Louisiana Delta Community College and the University of Louisiana Monroe will share resources to jointly deliver instruction for medical lab science career pathways. At LDCC, the 65-credit-hour Medical Laboratory Technicians Program includes certifications or exit points as a phlebotomist, a medical lab assistant, and terminating as a medical lab technician. Upon successful completion of the program, students will earn an associate of applied science degree. Students will then be eligible to seamlessly enter 不良研究所's medical lab science bachelor's degree program. After successfully completing thirty hours online at 不良研究所, students will graduate with their bachelor's degree in medical lab sciences.

Dr. Wendy Bailes named Dean of 不良研究所 College of Health Sciences

The University of Louisiana has named Wendy Bailes, Ph.D., RN, the new Dean of the College of Health Sciences, pending University of Louisiana System board approval. Bailes served as Interim Dean since May 2023. She was previously the Director of the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing at 不良研究所.

不良研究所 Kinesiology faculty members publish co-written article in international journal

不良研究所 kinesiology professor Dr. William Hey recently co-authored an international article in the Journal of Pedagogical Research along with instructor Jessica Reynolds. The research title is "Studying U.S. college faculty during the COVID-19 pandemic: Perceptions of severity, concerns, sources of information, preventive behaviors, barriers to work performance, and impact on work productivity." The study examines U.S. college faculty perceptions of and experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
