Prestigious AACSB reaffirms 不良研究所 business and accounting accreditation

AACSB International鈥擳he Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business鈥攁warded the University of Louisiana at Monroe College of Business continued accreditation in business and accounting.

AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education, and has been earned by less than five percent of the world鈥檚 business programs. Today, there are approximately 650 business schools in 45 countries and territories that maintain AACSB accreditation. Only 178 institutions maintain an additional specialized AACSB accreditation for their accounting programs.

不良研究所 President Dr. Nick J. Bruno said, 鈥淭he College of Business is critical to the economic development of this region. This reaffirms that our graduates are 鈥榡ob ready鈥 to contribute to our region鈥檚 need for these majors.鈥

Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master鈥檚, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting.

College of Business Dean Dr. Ron Berry said, 鈥淢aintaining our accreditation in business and accounting is a testament to the dedication and quality of our faculty, staff and students and the significance of our community relationships and partnerships. It is very rewarding when a thorough review such as this goes so well; we could not have asked for or expected better results.鈥

Robert D. Reid, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International, said accreditation requires diligence.

鈥淚t takes a great deal of commitment and determination to earn and maintain AACSB accreditation. Business schools must not only meet specific standards of excellence, but their deans, faculty and professional staff must make a commitment to ongoing continuous improvement to ensure that the institution will continue to deliver the highest quality of education to students.鈥

Dr. Eric Pani, vice president for academic affairs at 不良研究所, expressed his pride in 不良研究所's faculty and staff for achieving this milestone.

鈥淚 want to compliment Dean Berry, his staff, and the faculty in the College of Business for their dedication to quality education and research,鈥 he said.

鈥淚t is a real testimony to the commitment of our personnel that such quality has not only been maintained, but actually has increased.鈥
