不良研究所 faculty members publish new works

Faculty from the University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 Marriage and Family Therapy Program published two new works in 鈥淭he Qualitative Report,鈥 a journal on qualitative research methods.

Dr. Hillary Keeney, adjunct faculty in 不良研究所's MFT program, and Dr. Bradford Keeney, professor and Hanna Spyker Eminent Scholars Chair in Education, published two academic articles titled, 鈥淩ecursive Frame Analysis: Reflections on the Development of a Qualitative Research Model,鈥 and 鈥淩ecursive Frame Analysis: A Practitioner鈥檚 Tool for Mapping Therapeutic Conversation.鈥

Recursive Frame Analysis (RFA), developed two decades ago by Bradford Keeney, has been used in many scholarly publications to discern the structure of communication, especially in conversational situations focused on learning and transformation.

The Keeneys are also preparing a major research book on RFA with Dr. Ronald Chenail, vice president of Institutional Effectiveness and professor at Nova Southeastern University.

The book will be released as a special publication for 鈥淭he Qualitative Report.鈥
