Percussion ensemble makes appearance on 不良研究所 campus Jan. 31

Professional percussion ensemble Third Coast Percussion will make a guest appearance at the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus at 7:30 p.m., Jan. 31, in Brown Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Chicago-based group will offer a master class, working one-on-one with students, at 11 a.m., Jan. 31, in the Band Building. Third Coast presents concerts and master classes throughout the country including sessions in Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.

Third Coast was the featured ensemble at the 2nd Annual Round Top Percussion Festival in the 2008-09 season. The ensemble also has an established reputation for its commitment to expanding percussion repertoire and setting the highest standard in new music performance.
