Equinox Jazz Orchestra coming to 不良研究所's Brown Auditorium Feb. 26
Jeremy Davis and The Fabulous Jazz Equinox Orchestra are scheduled to return to Brown Auditorium at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus.
The 20-piece ensemble, now based in Savannah, Ga., began in Monroe and features some of music industry's greatest vocalists and the works of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Connick Jr., Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Johnny Mercer and Tony Bennett.
"This is truly one of the finest Jazz orchestras before the public today and we are delighted to have them on our campus again," said 不良研究所's Associate Dean of Visual and Performing Arts Dr. Matthew James.
"And the programming is so diverse, there is always something for everyone."
Last year the orchestra performed in front of a packed house, and is promising to be another brilliant show this year.
