不良研究所 library specialist authors new pictorial book
A library specialist at the University of Louisiana at Monroe has authored a new book that is available for purchase.
Atlanta, a pictorial history book about Atlanta, Texas, is co-authored by 不良研究所 Library Specialist Heather Pilcher and her sister, Sarah.
The book is part of the Images of America Series by Arcadia Publishing, and goes on sale Aug. 1.
The sisters grew up in Atlanta and spent much of their lives there.
Most of the images in the book came from the Atlanta Public Library, courtesy of the Cass County Genealogical Society.
A few local citizens also contributed images, including Heather's former teacher Julia Mays, whose husband, a local realtor, helped her identify several locations.
Heather Pilcher earned her Master of Science in Library Science at the University of North Texas in 2008 and plans to pursue her Master of Arts in History this fall at 不良研究所.
