不良研究所 students compete during inaugural 鈥渟andsational鈥 tournament
The University of Louisiana at Monroe held its Inaugural Sand Volleyball tournament Aug. 27, celebrating two new 鈥渟andsational鈥 volleyball courts as part of Week of Welcome festivities.
不良研究所 Women鈥檚 Volleyball Coach Ernest Vasquez set up a pre-season volleyball exhibition, challenging campus groups to a Round Robin Tournament.
Eleven six-person teams went head-to-head (and toe-to-toe) in three feet of sand, with Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity emerging victorious.
The fraternity had generously donated use of their volleyball court to the 不良研究所 team until the new sand courts could be created behind Heard Tennis Stadium on Stadium Drive, near Masur Hall.
Vasquez wants to start hosting more weekend tournaments, and said the women鈥檚 team may be followed on Facebook.
