不良研究所 Mortar Board chapter honored for excellence at national conference
The Senior Board Chapter at the University of Louisiana at Monroe was honored for its excellence at the 2010 Mortar Board National Conference, held July 23-25 in Chicago.
The group received the Silver Torch Award for meeting chapter management standards and exemplifying ideals of scholarship, leadership and service.
Chapter President Brent Gibert was there to accept the award.
Mortar Board is a premiere national honor society that provides opportunities for continued leadership development, promotes service for higher education programs and encourages life long contributions to the global community.
Since their beginning in 1977, the University of Louisiana at Monroe chapter has welcomed 49 members.
