College of Business Administration honors academic excellence at banquet
The College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Monroe held its 42nd Annual Honors Banquet on May 7, in the 不良研究所 Conference Center to spotlight the college鈥檚 outstanding students.
Seth Hall of West Monroe won the 2009-2010 Dean鈥檚 Award of Excellence, the highest award given by the CBA, which comes with a prize of $1,000. Hall also won the Wall Street Journal Award, which includes a one-year subscription to the WSJ, and the Outstanding Graduate in Marketing award.
Katie LaDelle Sanford of Jonesboro won the 2009-2010 Distinguished Scholar Award, which includes a $750 prize, and the Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding Undergraduate Award.
Lindsey Eickman of Garland, Texas, won the 2009-2010 Outstanding Scholar Award, which includes a $500 prize.
Vanessa Doherty of Avignon, France, won the Award of Commendation, which includes a $250 prize, and the Outstanding Graduate in Construction Management Award.
Outstanding awards by program included:

- Joel Foret of Plaucheville, Outstanding Graduate in Accounting Award.
- Julia Lee Sharplin Ashley of Sterlington, Outstanding Graduate in Computer Information Systems Award.
- Jason Clint Dycus of West Monroe, Outstanding Graduate in Computer Science Award.
- Carlie Turner of Monroe, Outstanding Graduate in Entrepreneurship Award.
- Elizabeth Lauren Ragland of Simpson, Outstanding Graduate in Finance Award and Outstanding Graduate in Risk Management and Insurance Award.
- John Heath Sullivan of Rayville, Outstanding Graduate in General Business Award.
- Sonya Naresh Patel of Monroe, Outstanding Graduate in Management Award.
