In 1992, Clow earned his Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and achieved his first journal publication as a doctoral candidate. While working on his dissertation, Clow recalls stating that when he finished his work, he would 鈥渘ever write another thing.鈥

Clow said he is thankful for the atmosphere at 不良研究所, which allows him to continue his research and publishing work. He extended a special 鈥渢hanks鈥 to CBA Dean Ronald Berry, who has been very supportive in his endeavors.
鈥淚 appreciate his confidence in me in appointing me to the Biedenharn Chair in Business,鈥 said Clow.
Clow鈥檚 published textbooks include: Marketing Management, First edition; Services Marketing, Second edition, Essentials of Marketing, Third edition and Integrated Advertising, Promotion, and Marketing Communications, Fourth edition.
