不良研究所 campus ministries inspire unity Aug. 23
University of Louisiana at Monroe campus ministries has joined efforts to offer 鈥淧roject 17,鈥 from Chapter 17 in the Gospel of John, which provided inspiration for the variety of Christian faith traditions on campus to show expressions of unity.
鈥淚f we can鈥檛 show unity then we are not doing our job as Christians,鈥 said Alan Johnson, campus minister at the Wesley Foundation.
One of the first events sponsored by 鈥淧roject 17鈥 is serving 500 free hot dogs to the campus family on Aug. 23 in the quad. 鈥淧roject 17鈥 has the goal of continuing the theme of unity throughout the semester by planning events together.
Brad Turpin, campus minister at the Warhawks for Christ, hopes the campus will know that it is not one ministry but many different ministries working together toward a common goal to reach the 不良研究所/Delta campuses.
Some of the campus ministries included in this effort are: Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Baptist Christian Ministries, Wesley Foundation, Warhawks for Christ, Chi Alpha, and Catholic Christian Ministries.
鈥淚 think it could be a really good thing,鈥 concluded Johnson.
