Renowned journalist Dan Rather to speak at 不良研究所
Dan Rather, who has circled the globe reporting on some of the most significant events of our time, will speak on 鈥淲hat I鈥檝e Learned from a Lifetime of Reporting,鈥 at 7 p.m., April 19, 2011, in Brown Auditorium, as part of the University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 Presidential Lyceum Series.
Earlier in the day, Rather will also share his experiences with 不良研究所 students in a master class from 3 to 4 p.m., followed by a short visit with local media outlets at 5 p.m., before heading to the Patron Party scheduled at 5:30 p.m. in the 不良研究所 Seventh Floor Library Conference Center.
Ticket sales will be announced closer to the date of Rather鈥檚 appearance in April.

不良研究所's Presidential Lyceum Series began in 2003 under the direction of former President James E. Cofer Sr., to promote intellectual exchange among 不良研究所 students, faculty, staff and the community. Past Lyceum speakers have included:

Dan Rather has been called the voice, heart, and soul of American journalism, and is one of the most recognized and renowned reporters in the world.
