不良研究所 student Redding wins coveted Gold ADDY Award

University of Louisiana at Monroe student Robert 鈥淩ob鈥 Redding, Jr.鈥檚 hard work on his nationally-syndicated program, 鈥淩edding News Review,鈥 has paid off in the form of a prestigious Gold ADDY Award.

Redding, a speech communication major from Fayetteville, Ga., and a member of 不良研究所鈥檚 award-winning Speech and Debate Team, secured the honor March 12 from the American Federation of Advertisers Northeast Louisiana chapter.

The media proprietor and radio talk show host received the reward of behalf of Redding Communications, Inc. for its "Redding News Review Promo" in the "Radio Self-Promotion Single" category.

"It is truly a distinguished honor to be recognized by such a respected organization," said Redding, "鈥橰edding News Review鈥 - the show and Web site - continues to set a new standard in the broadcast and news media industries, and this award is just an extension of that, and a testament to the hard work of our innovative staff.鈥

Talkers magazine highlighted Redding's uniquely independent views on government by listing him as one of the "100 Most Important Radio Talk Hosts In America." He has been called one of the most "respected names in the media," by urban magazine Upscale, and "one of the most intellectual and intriguing radio talk show hosts since Tavis Smiley" by urban industry authority Radio Facts.

鈥淩edding's show may be heard in all 50 states via XM 169 and Genesis Communications Network every Sunday from 6-9 p.m. It may be heard locally at the same time on KMLB-AM via GCN. Redding's podcast is downloaded by hundreds each week on the "Black Web Award"-winning Web site, .

On the 不良研究所 side, Redding also recently appeared in the 2009 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, recognized for being a national outstanding campus leader.
