不良研究所 College of Pharmacy student Snyder receives prestigious RESPy Award
Chase Snyder, a third-year University of Louisiana Monroe pharmacy student from Zachary, has been chosen to receive a Wal-Mart Pharmacy/Pharmacy Times Respect, Excellence, and Service in Pharmacy Award for 2008.
Each year 鈥淧harmacy Times,鈥 in conjunction with Wal-Mart, honors outstanding pharmacy students who display exemplary behavior and great potential as community pharmacist candidates.
Snyder was selected because of his service to the 不良研究所 College of Pharmacy, community and his profession. "I am very proud to have received the RESPy Award. It is very humbling to be recognized for personal achievements, and I am thankful to Dr. [Edwin] Adams for nominating me for this award. It's a great honor and I hope to continue the tradition of past pharmacists in providing valuable services to our patients."
Eight RESPy Award winners are chosen each year, are featured in 鈥淧harmacy Times鈥 magazine and are honored by their respective college of pharmacy. Students selected also receive a cash award and will be offered a summer internship with Wal-Mart.
