不良研究所 SGA president honored in Baton Rouge

On Friday in Baton Rouge, the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors and ULS President Sally Clausen honored the outgoing Student Government Association (SGA) presidents, including 不良研究所鈥檚 Brady Middleton, a junior secondary education major from Mangham.

This year, the SGA presidents reached out to K-12 students as part of the 鈥淩 U Ready?鈥 campaign, devoted their time to Extreme Spring Break, and were instrumental in bringing awareness to the high costs of textbooks that will result in a Legislative Resolution and early notification of textbook lists through campus websites.

鈥淭hese student leaders represent the best and brightest,鈥 said UL System President Sally Clausen. 鈥淣ot only have they worked hard on their own campuses, but they have also tackled tough statewide issues like the high costs of textbooks and campus safety. Their work will have a positive impact on all of Louisiana鈥檚 students.鈥

Middleton has accomplished the following during his presidency at 不良研究所:

After graduation, Middleton plans to pursue a master鈥檚 in Education Administration while teaching in the secondary public education system.

鈥淐oaching is what I love, but teaching is what I鈥檝e been called to do and that is where my emphasis will lie. I plan to stay civically involved in my community and statewide with special interest in the Higher Education System. I鈥檝e completely enjoyed serving my university and will truly miss my friends, co-workers, and those at the state office who have given me priceless advice over the past year,鈥 he said.
