Biology department to offer fall seminar series; next offering Sept. 28

The 不良研究所 Department of Biology will offer several educational seminars during the fall 2007 semester, with the first to begin Friday, Sept. 21.

During the inaugural seminar, Neil Douglas, a 不良研究所 professor emeritus and the former director/curator of the 不良研究所 Museum of Natural History vertebrate (fish and reptiles) collection from 1962-1997, will speak about 鈥淟ouisiana鈥檚 inland fishes: a quarter century of change鈥 Sept. 21 in Garrett Hall, Room 202 at 1 p.m.

September offerings will conclude with a presentation by Dwayne Wise of Mississippi State University entitled 鈥淯nderstanding control checkpoints of eukaryotic cell division鈥 Friday, Sept. 28 in Garrett Hall, Room 202 at 1 p.m.
