Ace encourages Carver Elementary School children to read

Ace, the 不良研究所 Warhawk, launched the reading program at Carver Elementary School Friday, Sept. 21.

鈥淗aving ACE kick off the reading program gets the kids motivated, the parents involved and brings an overall enthusiasm to the program,鈥� said LaWanda Elliott, first-grade teacher at Carver Elementary.

The program, entitled "Parents Reading to Our Students" or PROS, promotes parental involvement in reading.

At the end of the program, Ace helped with the students鈥� balloon release entitled, 鈥淩elease of Inhibition,鈥� which symbolized any inhibitions children may have had about reading.
