Student wins summer internship at Atlanta International Airport
University of Louisiana at Monroe junior Nikhil Joshi, an aviation major from Mysore, India, will participate in the selective Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport 2007 Summer Internship Program.
The 10-week internship provides students with work experience that spans the gap between classroom learning and career aspirations. Students will work 40 hours per week on projects determined by separate units of the City of Atlanta, Department of Aviation, the owner and operator of H-JAIA.
According to Sally Davidson, program coordinator of 不良研究所's aviation department, Joshi exceeded the internship's requirements, notably with a 3.6 grade point average. "We are very proud of him."
