Education Career Day set for April 18

Career Services will host a career day for all education majors Wednesday, April 18 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Library Conference Center (7th floor).

Career Services will have more than 40 school systems from across the United States in attendance, including from California; Las Vegas, Nev.; Illinois; Texas; Louisiana; and others. They will share information about competitive pay rates, alternative certification and other programs and interests.

This career day is not just for graduating education majors, it is for all education, undeclared and other majors who may have an interest in teaching. Career Services hosts career days throughout the year, with the first one available for all majors, and the following ones focused on a specific major or college.
