Sound of Today Color Guard auditions scheduled for March 24

The ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Band Department will hold auditions for the Sound of Today Color Guard Saturday, March 24 from 8:30 a.m. – noon in Brown Gymnasium.

The Sound of Today Color Guard is comprised of students who are skilled in flag and rifle, although this audition will focus on flag technique. The audition is open to anyone who will be a full time ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù student during the 2007 – 08 academic year. Students accepted onto the Color Guard may be eligible for a band talent grant.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Brown Gym lobby. The audition will begin at 9 a.m. and should be completed by noon. Participating students are asked to wear khaki shorts or pants, a dark T-shirt or top, and tennis shoes. Students can bring their own flag and pole if they wish. ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù equipment will also be available.
