Art faculty member accepted into selective Arkansas Arts Center exhibition
不良研究所 Division of Art faculty Cliff Tresner was recently accepted into the 49th Annual Delta Exhibition at the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock Ark.
Tresner was one of the 66 artists selected to display his work out of 596 entries. His work titled "Social Augmentation," fabricated out of steel and wood, was selected by juror Don Rietz, American Craft Council Gold Metal recipient and winner of the Peter Voulkos Fellowship Award sponsored by the Archie Bray Foundation.
Reitz commented in his juror statement that, "The decision-making by the artist in the process of developing their works is very personal and private. You stand in the cross-section of your work, quite naked for the world to see. It takes a great deal of courage and commitment to do this."
This exhibition is on display until Feb. 25.
