CAB鈥檚 Leadership Workshop Series presents speakers on Feb. 27 and March 6

The Campus Activities Board at 不良研究所 will bring two new speakers to campus as part of its Leadership Workshop Series, beginning with Mike Domitrz's "Can I Kiss You?" Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 7 鈥 9 p.m. at Brown Auditorium.

Through his role-playing with audience members and his portrayal of characters on stage, Domitrz turns what is often labeled as a silent issue into a reportedly engaging and thought-provoking event. While most people simply "make their move" on a date, Mike shows why "asking first" makes all the difference.

Attendees are given skills to instantly use in their own relationships and discover how to appropriately intervene in potentially dangerous situations with their friends (including when alcohol is involved).

Through it all, everyone is intended to gain a greater level of admiration and respect for survivors of sexual assault.

Phill Milano's "I Can't Believe You Asked That!" is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6 from 7 鈥 9 p.m. at Brown Auditorium.

His workshop is reportedly intended to help participants who ever wondered something about someone of another race, gender or culture but were just too afraid or embarrassed to ask.

Milano is author of 鈥淚 Can't Believe You Asked That!鈥 (Perigee), writer of the weekly newspaper column "Dare To Ask," and founder of Yforum.com.

His approach is represented as 鈥渢earing off the blinders of decorum, re-awakening childlike curiosity and giving the audience the tools needed to discuss taboo topics that everyone is dying to know about each other.鈥 The intended effect is 鈥渢o have participants question their own biases and gain profound new insights into themselves and others.鈥
