Snyder Museum to feature ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù students’ work in exhibition
The Snyder Museum in Bastrop is currently showing a group exhibition by ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù art students. Known as the Painters' House Group, these students occupy private studios in a university-owned house on Bon Aire Drive.
Participants in this exhibition are:
- Samantha Allen with figurative acrylic, oil and mixed media paintings and computer generated illustrations
- Diane Hill with non-objective and landscape acrylic paintings
- Nick Hutchinson with figurative and non-objective acrylic paintings
- Brad New with figurative and landscape acrylic paintings and figurative and mixed media monotype original prints
- Stefan Nodarse with original prints in the form of figurative lithographs, etchings and color reliefs and non-objective etchings and lithographs
- Michele Smith with figurative and portrait acrylic paintings and figurative achromatic digital photographs.
The exhibit will run until Tuesday, March 27. The ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù students will be honored with an artist's reception at the Snyder on Sunday, March 11 from 2 – 4 p.m. Located at 1620 E. Madison Avenue in Bastrop, the museum is open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesdays – Fridays.
