Kappa Pi members exhibit at Snyder Museum in Bastrop
The Snyder Museum in Bastrop is currently showing an invitational exhibition by members and guests of Kappa Pi, an international honorary art fraternity in the Division of Art at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. The ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù exhibition will be on display through May 4.
This student group exhibition consists of:
- polychromed plaster bust sculpture and non-objective relief original prints by Nikki Allbritton
- figurative acrylic and mixed media paintings by Samantha Allen
- figurative and portrait color photographs by Julia Burchett
- still life and landscape silverprint and digital photographs by Caleb Clark
- wheel thrown and hand-built glazed stoneware utilitarian ceramics by Betty Crouch
- nonobjective, landscape and portrait photographs with mixed media and series embellishments by Misty DeLeon
- graphite landscape drawings and handbuilt glazed stoneware ceramic sculpture by Joni Dollar
- figurative and nonobjective acrylic paintings by Diane Hill
- nonobjective lithographic original prints by Stephanie Jordan
- nonobjective, landscape and figurative acrylic and mixed media paintings by Brad New
- nonobjective acrylic paintings by Travis Reuther
- landscape photographs, nonobjective hand-built glazed stoneware and figurative cast bronze sculpture by Karen Robinson
- figurative acrylic paintings by Michele Kuhn
- ink and mixed media still life and landscape pastel drawings by Heath Work
Located at 1620 E. Madison Ave. in Bastrop, the Snyder Museum is open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. An artists' reception will be held between 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, April 22.
