Jungman exhibits at Shreveport show through May 19

Camille S. Jungman, instructor of art history in 不良研究所鈥檚 Art Department since 2004, currently has a show on view in Shreveport through May 19.

Jungman鈥檚 show is entitled "A Wardrobe for a Paper Doll and Her Memories." Her portfolio on view consists of 16 archival pigment ink prints that explore how childhood memories can be related to the adult.

鈥淐lothing is the central metaphor of the prints,鈥 Jungman said. 鈥淢any people find the prints interesting and a fun way to explore their own pasts.鈥

In addition to this portfolio of digital prints, she has five prints from another one of large color prints on display, entitled 鈥淥ff the Rack.鈥 The prints also use clothing as the central symbol and explore how it can be made to express inner thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Jungman鈥檚 show may be seen at CoolSpace, located at 710 Texas Street on the west edge of the arts district. The gallery is open Mondays from 11 a.m. 鈥 3 p.m. and on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. 鈥 6 p.m.
