Associate Dean nominated outstanding university professor

Ruth Smith, associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and head of 不良研究所鈥檚 foreign languages department, was nominated "Outstanding University Professor" by the local chapter of the AATSP (American Association for Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese - the Antonio Margil Chapter) this past weekend in Ruston.

The local nomination means Smith鈥檚 name will be submitted to the national chapter. She established this chapter, one of only two in the state, the other one being the New Orleans chapter.

Five 不良研究所 faculty members also attended the meeting. Charles Holloway, a foreign languages professor at 不良研究所, is currently the treasurer.
