RSVP Annual Volunteer Party Monday
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, RSVP, will host its annual Volunteer Recognition Party Monday, April 18th at 12 noon at the First United Methodist Church on Loop Road. RSVP is a Federal Grant Program sponsored by 不良研究所. Attending will be around 200 volunteers that are 55 years old or older that do volunteer work in Ouachita and Union Parishes. Some of the volunteers will be receiving Presidential Volunteer Awards. These volunteers have served at least 100 hours in 2004. Twenty Lifetime Achievement Awards will also be given to volunteers who have volunteered more than 5000 hours as members of RSVP.
