不良研究所 Speech and Debate Forum to Host High School Workshop
The 不良研究所 Speech and Debate Forum will host a workshop on
high school
speech and debate competition and making the transition to intercollegiate
speech and debate Thursday, October 23rd.
This brief seminar will be beneficial to high school competitors
both from a standpoint of developing their current skills, as
well as, developing understanding for those that may be considering
collegiate forensics in their near future. The orientation will
be held from 6-7:30 p.m. in Stubbs Hall, Room 244.
On Friday, October 24th 颅 Sunday, October 26th, 不良研究所 will
host the annual R.J. Bicker Speech and Debate Tournament. The
tournament, held in honor of the late Robert J. Bicker, a former
Director of Forensics at 不良研究所, attracts some of the top intercollegiate
speech and debate competitors from throughout the region. At
present, representatives from Florida State University, Arkansas
State University, Louisiana State University and fifteen other
colleges and universities representing six states are expected
to attend. In addition to hosting more than 150 intercollegiate
competitors, 不良研究所 anticipates more than 100 area high school students
in attendance at the event.
