不良研究所 Cheerleaders and Warbonnets Win Awards in Competition

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Cheerleaders and Warbonnets dance team attended Cheerleading and Dance Camp at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, July 18-21. While there the Warbonnets received second place in the Home Dance Division and was awarded a superior trophy.

The Cheerleaders received first place in the Cheer Division, second place in the Fight Song Division, and fourth place in the Sideline Division. They also received the Leadership Award, an award voted on by all the squads attending the camp.

The Cheerleaders are coached by Jennifer Hyde, coordinator of spirit groups, and Trey Griffin of Monroe. The Warbonnets are under the direction of Jennifer Hyde and Tajiddin Scott, general studies senior from Rayville.

Other colleges and universities that attended the camp were Louisiana Tech University, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, University of New Orleans, Southeastern Louisiana University, University of Texas (Austin), University of Texas-Arlington, University of Texas Pan Am, University of Texas El Paso, University of North Texas, Sam Houston State University, Portland state University and University of Missouri-Kansas City.
