不良研究所 British Studies Students Take Off For London
Take-off to London for students at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will be Thursday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Monroe Regional Airport. Students will begin to arrive at the airport around 9:00 a.m. Four 不良研究所 students will be taking the trip.
While in Europe, the students will have an opportunity to participate in learning from British Scholars.
"The students will be exposed to the culture and society of Britain in a unique way. Students will have the opportunity to visit Normandy, Scotland, Oxford, Cambridge, France, and several other places. On top of the learning opportunities, the students will get 6 hours of college credit for making the trip. Their classes in London will be held on three days during the week, with the other days free for sight-seeing," said Martha Upshaw, 不良研究所 Director of Continuing Education and British Studies Advisor.
"More and more frequently we hear that many large businesses
in this country are requiring an international studies opportunity
of their employees. That makes this trip such a great tool for
college students as they begin to look for jobs," said Upshaw.
The students will return to Monroe on Friday, August 2, 2002.
