"New Orleans Reflections" at Wesley Art Gallery

"New Orleans Reflections" a One-person Award Exhibition in Painting by Justin Fogleman of Monroe is currently being shown at Wesley Art Gallery in the Northeast Campus Ministry facility.

Fogleman, a sophomore painting major at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, is the first of six award-winning students to mount exhibitions at the Wesley during the current academic year. Such exhibition opportunities serve as prizes at the Arts Quest, a spring semester juried competition for 不良研究所 students.

On display are oil and acrylic canvases espousing figurative, portrait, landscape, still life and non-objective imagery. In many of his compositions, the artist emphasizes a single studio technique such as collage, impasto applications, shaped canvas, formed canvas or diptych formats.

This 17 piece exhibition, which has just returned from being exhibited at the Snyder Museum in Bastrop, will be on view through Sept. 17. The Wesley Art Gallery, located at 112 Delano Drive on the 不良研究所 campus, is open from 9 to 9 daily.
