不良研究所 College of Education and Human Development presents Parent/Teacher Conference

Parents and teachers can hear professionals in various fields provide important information on better understanding and helping children, when the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Louisiana at Monroe presents its Parent and Teacher Conference on Saturday, Nov. 6.

The conference will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in room 148 of Strauss Hall on the 不良研究所 campus.

Topics include: developing better study skills, violence and school safety, ending homework headaches, and early reading.

Scheduled speakers include Dr. Sally Thigpen and Dr. Amy Yates from the 不良研究所 Department of Marriage and Family Therapy, Sgt. Carol Andrews, Crime Prevention Officer of the Monroe City Police Department and Dr. Barbara Biersmith, Director of the Sylvan Learning Center.
