Recent 不良研究所 Graduate Has Wesley Art Showing
West Monroe's Toni Pederson, a recent graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe's Department of Art, currently has a One-Person Alumni Award Exhibition in Drawing on display at the Wesley Art Gallery in the Northeast Campus Ministry facility.
One-Person Award Exhibitions are prizes given in the Annual Arts Quest, a juried competition for 不良研究所 students and alumni. Pederson received a Best in Show Award, a Religious-Content Purchase Prize as well as the one-person exhibition at the Wesley, in last spring's Arts Quest. She is the fourth award-winner to mount an exhibition at the Wesley during the current academic year.
The display features 17 works of art with an emphasis on the drawn representational image. These images espouse figurative, portrait, still life and landscape motifs, executed in pen and ink or graphite with mixed media embellishments.
Located at 112 Delano Drive on the 不良研究所 campus, the gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Pederson's exhibition will continue through Jan. 7.
