Joey Trappey to speak to ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù students at annual Convocation

Published August 24, 2015

Convocation at the University of Louisiana at Monroe symbolizes the official start to the academic year. The event gives freshmen a view of Fant-Ewing Coliseum as not only a place they will visit for numerous events, but also as a place where they will receive their diplomas in four years.

During the ceremony, students are introduced to administrative leaders, as well as the Sound of Today, Ace, ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Cheer, and Hawkline. Students are also treated ice cream from Eskamoe’s Frozen Custard.

One of the most important aspects of Convocation is a speech about what to expect from college life, given by a successful young alumnus.
