The ACDA鈥檚 primary focus is to support and promote the wealth of talent and creativity that is prominent throughout university dance departments and programs.

Mullone鈥檚 duties as a board member include promoting the organization by encouraging dance students, faculty, and departments to become members; encouraging and promoting creative work among faculty as well as students; attending regional and national dance conferences, and being the liaison between the dance department and the regional director.

鈥淭his is an organization that benefits college students, professionals, and professors in the arts as the arts are often on the precipice of being cut,鈥 Mullone said. 鈥淏eing an insider in the organization allows me to communicate directly with the regional directors and national directors and find the necessary networking tools to continue to grow our programs.鈥

The ACDA sponsors regional conferences for students and faculty to engage in performances, workshops, panels, and master classes taught by instructors from around the country.

Mullone is working with the board to host a conference at 不良研究所 in future.

Mullone has taught at 不良研究所 for 7 years. She received a bachelor鈥檚 degree from the University of Oklahoma and a graduate degree from Texas Christian University.
