不良研究所 College of Business and Social Sciences honors academic excellence at banquet

The College of Business and Social Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Monroe held its 46th Annual Honors Banquet Friday, May 2, in the 不良研究所 Library Conference Center to honor outstanding students in the College of Business and Social Sciences.

The highest award given to a graduate from the College of Business and Social Sciences was the 2013-2014 Dean鈥檚 Award of Excellence presented to Lesley Anne Engolia of Covington.

The 2013-2014 Superior Scholar Award was presented to Lauren Chandler of Bossier City.

The 2013-2014 Distinguished Scholar Award went to Nicholas Andrew Vargo of Bossier City.

The 2013-2014 Outstanding Scholar Award was presented to Katelyn Hogan of Monroe.

The 2013-2014 Award of Commendation went to Iren O. Marinova of Sofia, Bulgaria.

Chandani P. Patel of Winnfield, and Kelsi Lynn Siudy of Monroe, were selected by the graduate faculty as the Outstanding Master of Business Administration Graduates.

Adam L. Monsen of San Antonio, Texas received the Outstanding Graduate in Computer Information Systems Award.

Cody Parker of Winnsboro received the Outstanding Graduate in Agribusiness Award.

LaWanna D. Gilbert-Bell of Lake Providence received the Outstanding Graduate in General Business Award.

Jon O. Fisher of Oxford, Miss. received the Outstanding Graduate in Management Award.

Zuzana Markova of Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic, received the Outstanding Graduate in Sociology Award.

Finch of West Monroe; criminal justice major William Holomon of Minden; accounting major Morgan LeBleu of Sterlington; management major Jamie Mock of Monroe; management major Jacqueline Moody-Payton of Belize; psychology major Kristen L. Beta Gamma Sigma:

Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honorary fraternity for collegiate business students, also selected its outstanding students.

The Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding Undergraduate Award went to Leslie Engolia of Covington. The Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding Junior Scholarship award went to Christin C. Binford of Marion, and the Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding MBA member was Xiaojun Wang of China.
