Along with psychology major Crystal Curry of Winnsboro, Garvey presented three conference posters and his paper titled 鈥淧athogen Prevalence and Political Orientation: Which Drives Moral Decision Making?,鈥 at the International Society for Human Ethology鈥檚 4th Biennial Summer Institute on Human Ethology, held at the University of Michigan.

Garvey also presented four conference posters with psychology major Kasey Rhodes of Marion, and read his paper titled 鈥淭he Four Horsemen of Morality,鈥 at the 7th Annual meeting of the North Eastern Evolutionary Psychology Society, held at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Penn.

According to Garvey, 2014 looks to be even more productive as he and members of his paleo-psychology lab have recently submitted research to be presented at conferences held by the American Psychology-Law Society, the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, and the Southwestern Psychological Association.

Garvey earned a B.A. in philosophy, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuropsychology. He has taught at 不良研究所 since 2012.
